ttokidoki (the “App”) is a focus timer that works without an account or sign-up. This policy explains what information the App handles, where, and how. Any terms of use not covered here are governed by the Apple Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA).
1. Information we do not collect
We do not ask for or collect information that directly identifies you, such as your name, email address, phone number, or address. We do not collect the advertising identifier (IDFA), and we do not track you across apps or websites owned by other companies.
2. Information stored only on your device
Your focus records (time, tags, notes), app settings, and character and Insight data are stored only on your device. These records themselves are never sent off your device (see Section 4 for usage statistics). Deleting the App removes all of them, and you can also delete focus records and Insight with “Clear analysis data” in the App’s settings.
3. Camera (gaze detection)
If you turn on Auto eye detection, the App uses the front camera during a focus session to tell in real time whether you are looking at the screen, and uses that only for the character’s reactions.
- All processing happens on your device.
- Face images, depth data, and gaze results are never stored or transmitted.
- The camera is not used while the App is not on screen.
You can stop this at any time by turning off Auto eye detection in the App’s settings or by revoking camera access in iOS Settings.
4. Usage statistics (Firebase Analytics)
To improve the App, we collect usage statistics through Google’s Firebase Analytics.
| Item | Details |
|---|---|
| What is collected | App usage events (starting, completing, and stopping focus sessions and their length, breaks, tag type, character unlocks and selections, settings changes, notification permission), plus an app instance ID generated by the App, device model, OS and app version, country/region, and session information |
| What is not collected | Note contents, camera or face data, the advertising identifier, or anything that directly identifies you |
| Purpose | Understanding how features are used and improving the App |
| Retention | Up to 14 months from collection, then deleted automatically |
| Processor and international transfer | Google LLC (United States). Sent over the network from time to time while you use the App |
This information is processed in a form that does not directly identify you, and it is never sold or used for advertising.
5. Other permissions
- Notifications: The App schedules notifications on your device for when a focus session or break ends. Their contents are not sent anywhere.
- Photos: The App saves a completion image to your photo library only when you choose to save it.
You can change any permission at any time in iOS Settings.
6. Sharing with third parties
We do not share or sell your information to third parties, except where required by law.
7. Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, deletion of, or restriction of processing of your information. You can delete the information on your device directly in the App. For requests about usage statistics, contact us at the address below and we will handle them without delay.
8. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we will post the update on this page with a new effective date.
